Engine Oil Cooler made by DO Engineering for the NC (2006-2015) MX-5 Miata. It comes with a FRP duct to draw even more air to it, making it a very functional piece. During intense racing, the engine of NC tends to get hot (up to 130 degrees) and shortage of oil can cause damage to the engine. By installing an engine oil cooler, the oil temperature can be lowered and the load on the engine during circuit driving can be reduced significantly. When temperature is high, ECU will reduce power automatically. By installing the oil cooler, the reduced power feature will not happen and engine will run at full power, at all time, for better lap times. The small size of the oil cooler will not reduce the cooling from the radiator. A built-in thermostat is used to prevent overcooling due to very low oil temperature even in winter, and the engine oil temperature is always controlled to be within the appropriate range. Manual high speed fan switch by JoyFast for NC (2006-2015) Mazda Miata/MX-5. NC Miatas have a ECU that sets the fan speeds to low, medium or high on its own depending on the water temp. In performance situations though, the NC Miatas can spike very quickly making it hard for the ECU to keep up and possibly not having enough time to switch to a high fan setting cause the engine to overheat. Having a manual switch allows for full control of the cars cooling and is a must for those pushing their cars to the limit.
